Apprenticeship Program
The Apprenticeship Program will begin charging an application fee (Effective March 1, 2002) of $25.00
payable by MONEY ORDER ONLY made out to: Local 150 Apprenticeship
Fund.
The Money Order must be submitted with the
completed request form for the application packet to:

Request
for applications are available during normal business hours from any District Office or the Apprenticeship
Office.
Only
one application per money order and request will be sent to an applicant.
The
Apprenticeship Office, without a previously submitted request and money order,
will not accept an application.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a
minimum of two years of high school and/or G.E.D.
They must also be a resident of Local 150 jurisdiction, and
possess a valid driver’s license. Anyone interested in becoming an apprentice
must make certain their application is complete and up-to-date or they will not
be on the selection list. The number of
apprentices that are selected for each of our eight Districts is based on the
amount of projected work and the number of members that have gone from active
to inactive for each of these areas.
Apprenticeship applications are only good for a period of 2 years.
